We evaluate the business case with our experts after conducting an initial consultation. Usually, companies should come to us when they feel the business problem is not solvable with just a couple of rules and the answer is somewhere in the data.

To define an ML use case, business people will need the help of an ML team, who decide if and how to proceed with the problem enhancement; the problem owner who knows the most about the issue; and technical specialists who understand how the problem described by the problem owner can be interacted with in the technical world.

It heavily depends on various factors. But to give a rough explanation, imagine the process of iterations of the cycle: data collection, labelling, model development + training, testing & evaluation, and deployment into the final solution. Usually, the first two steps take 20-50% of the time (the smaller the project / common problem, the higher the percentage). At the same time, the split between the latter 3 depends on the uniqueness of the problem, the required performance level, and the deployment complexity. The range of the machine learning project is from 3 months to multi-year collaborations.

This depends on the project scope, and whether we need to build the entire infrastructure of the final solution or not. To give a rough understanding, our hourly fee usually ranges from 90 to 120 EUR per hour. An entire machine learning project usually varies from 20,000 EUR to several hundred thousand, depending on the complexity.
